  1. About us
    We are Rocket Campaigns B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands with Chamber of Commerce number 81276400. Our office is located at Joop Geesinkweg 201, 1114 AB, Amsterdam. Rocket Campaigns is part of the Parfumado Group, which is also comprised of Parfumado Holding B.V. and Parfumado B.V., both affiliated with Rocket Campaigns. Together with our partners and your favourite brands, we create campaigns in which we distribute beauty and perfume samples (“Samples”) from our brand partners. Rocket Campaigns allows you to request Samples from your favourite brands.

    This Privacy and Cookie Statement applies to all the processing of personal data by Rocket Campaigns referred to herein, whereby Rocket Campaigns is the data controller in the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR).
  2. Which persons
    We process personal data of all persons with whom we have a direct or indirect relationship. This concerns the following categories:
    1. People who have signed up for our Panel;
    2. Persons who have participated in a Sampling Campaign;
    3. People who complete a Parfumado Group quiz or survey;
    4. Persons who have expressed interest in our services through social media or other means;
    5. Persons applying for a job with us; and
    6. Business partners.

  3. Source of acquisition

    Rocket Campaigns processes personal data that you have provided to us or to Parfumado B.V., part of the Parfumado Group. You provide personal data when you sign up for our Panel, fill in a perfume or beauty quiz, request a Sample, fill in a post-Sample survey or post a review, amongst other things. We also process certain personal data if you contact us by telephone, website or email. You may also provide us with personal data when visiting our website.

    You are never obliged to provide us with personal data. However, if you do not wish to provide specific personal data, we will not be able to offer you certain services and products. When entering personal data, we indicate which data is necessary and which data is optional.

    There are also personal data that we obtain through cookies and other techniques. For example, we may receive information from third parties, such as Google, about your approximate location. We use this information only to the extent permitted by law.
  4. Purposes

    We process your data for various purposes. The main purposes are described below. Other purposes for which we process data are closely related to the purposes described below. If we are going to process data for a purpose that is not related to the purposes below, we will inform you in a timely manner.
    1. Targeted Sampling Campaigns: Panel, beauty and perfume profile, post-Sample surveys and reviews
      The Parfumado Group concludes partnerships with perfume and beauty brands that want to distribute Samples to a specific target group. Rocket Campaigns has set up a Panel for this purpose, consisting of persons who have indicated that they are open to receiving Samples. In order to register for the Panel, we will process your name, email address, country of residence, gender, age, and detailed information about your perfume and beauty preferences, such as which perfumes or beauty products appeal to you most, what your favourite brands are, what appeals to you in perfumes and beauty products, how you use perfume and beauty (including skin, hair and body care and make-up) products, your skin and hair type, any skin or hair problems, and information about your buying behaviour (“Panel Data”). You can indicate at each question that you prefer not to answer the question. However, if you do not answer or indicate that you prefer not to answer, your beauty and perfume profile will be incomplete and we may not approach you for Sampling Campaigns because we will not be able to assess whether your profile matches the target group of the brand behind the Sampling Campaign.

      During every Sampling Campaign, our brand partner indicates the target group it wants to reach with the Sampling Campaign. Based on the beauty and perfume profiles of the members of the Panel and the target group specified by the brand partner, specific persons from the Panel are approached with the question of whether they would like to claim the relevant Sample. We process the Panel Data to determine which target group we will approach for a specific Sampling Campaign. In order to approach the target group, we process your name and email address.

      We ask participants in Sampling Campaigns afterwards if they would like to share their feedback via a post-Sample survey and whether they would be willing to write a review. These reviews can also be used by the brand partners on their own website or on websites of retailers they work with. We will always inform you about this when we ask you for a review. We can use the data from the post-Sample survey in general, anonymous reports and share these with the beauty and perfume brands behind the Sampling Campaigns.
    2. Customer relations and customer administration
      It is necessary for us to maintain contact with you and for this purpose we process your name, address, email address, phone number, Panel Registration and Sampling Campaign history. In order to optimise this contact, we want to be able to analyse customer contact. We also process any complaints by name in order to resolve any disputes, for example.

      It is important for us to establish how our relationship with you came to be. We need to know whether you applied for the Panel or came into contact with us through a Sampling Campaign or in some other way. For this purpose, we process your name, address, email address, gender (if known to us), Panel registration and Sampling Campaign history.
    3. Customer satisfaction and service
      The satisfaction of our customers is of great importance to us. We want to be able to trace and resolve any issues with Samples as quickly as possible. Any reported issues are recorded so that we can analyse them and prevent them from happening again in the future. For this purpose, we process your name, address details, email address (in case of shipment with track and trace code), phone number and any complaints. The same applies in the event of any disputes. In the event of technical problems, we use the information necessary to identify and resolve the problem, such as name, address, email, Sampling Campaign history and IP address.
    4. Marketing purposes
      We like to keep you up to date on the latest Rocket Campaigns news and Sampling Campaigns. To be able to approach you for targeted Sampling Campaigns, we analyse your beauty and perfume profile. Depending on our relationship with you, you will be approached for this. For this purpose, we process your name, email address, email preferences, address data, Panel Data, Sampling Campaign History, gender (if known to us), and age or age group (if known to us).

      We also use the post-Sample surveys to find out if you want to be kept up to date with the latest news from the brand from which you received the Sample. If you consent, we will share your email address with the brand in a secure way, which can only be used on the basis of your consent and applicable law. You can always withdraw your consent by sending an email to contact@rocketcampaigns.com
    5. Delivery of Samples
      If you participate in a Sampling Campaign, we must be able to send you your Sample. It is therefore necessary for us to have your address. To this end, we process your name, address, current Sample request and, in case of a package with track & trace code, also your email address.
    6. Financial administration and accounting obligation

It is necessary to process certain personal data in order to execute payments. In this context, we process the name, contact details, bank details, payment status, order history and payment history of our business partners.
